![]() ![]() If there isn't a resolution to this unfortunately the game will no longer be playable to me. Not sure if I am the only one who is resulting in these problems but I do hope someone in the team can at least take a look at this. Looking into the build notes, I noticed the part about "Controller + Cursor Changes" and I am almost conclusive there has been a negative impact, probably a bug, that disables customizing controller setups. I tried many ways to change the settings from changing the icon set and even restarting both DS4windows and the game itself to no avail. After customizing the controls back to my prefer settings I noticed that there were no change to the settings and that the controls were stuck on default. Since opening the game I've noticed that the controller bindings were set to "default" settings. I've never experience any problems until updating into patch 22.20.0 of the Beast of the Sanctuary build. I've always played the PC build utilizing my PS4 controller with the addition of DS4windows patch. This is necessary to prevent the Double Input Issue.Hey DE, just want to bring this to your attention. (You should only follow this section after confirming the virtual xbox 360 controller is working as expected)īasically, when using a controller with DS4Windows, it's highly recommended that the REAL controller is hidden from everything on the system besides DS4Windows itself in order for only DS4Windows' VIRTUAL controller to remain visible to games. Scroll through the page until you find the XBOX 360 controller. After selecting this new profile, test if your gamepad is working as expected on the Gamepad Tester Website.Select your new profile in the main "Controllers" tab.Give a name to this profile and then save it.Most games have no native support to DS4 controllers, so it's recommended that you set DS4Windows for Xbox 360 emulation unless you are absolutely sure your game has native support for DS4 controllers.DS4Windows will present your controller as if it were a "virtual" Xbox 360 or DS4 to games When using it with DS4Windows what matter is the type of controller emulation (or virtual controller) DS4Windows is configured to. Forget that your real controller is a "PS4 gamepad" ( DS4).By using a "Preset" profile you are using a profile that is pre-configured and should work as expected.DS4Windows should ask if you want to use a Preset, select "Yes" then "gamepad -> Xbox 360" On the "Profiles" tab, create a new profile. This page also has additional instructions on how to get DS4Windows basics workingĬreating a preset Profile and selecting it for your controller.Follow the instructions in this page to get the correct version of DS4Windows: Installation and Setup.Delete the DS4Windows' User Data that may still exist in your PC by following the "Settings and user data" SECTION in this page: Uninstalling DS4Windows and related drivers.Close DS4Windows and then delete its folder.IN CASE OF NO, then you are probably using an obsolete version of DS4Windows.This is a more-or-less advanced feature and should not be tweaked unless you really know what you are doing With Steam, it uses the SIAPI or Steam Input API and has a greater feature set than Xinput. So it’s emulation the DualSense by using Xinput, but games still only see the Xinput, so they display the Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller. IN CASE OF YES, DO NOT change anything in there. The TLDR DS4Windows uses Xinput or the Xbox Input that is native to Windows (7/8/10).Does the DS4Windows you are using have a "Output Slots" tab, like in this image?. ![]()
